Officers for the Crossgates, Swarcliffe and Manston areas were providing 'high visibility patrols' addressing anti-social behaviour in Leeds over the weekend.

As a result of a call from a member of public regarding a group of young people causing anti-social behaviour in and around the Manston Park area, a group of around 12 in numbers were dispersed and some were apprehended by officers, Leeds East police said.

Their personal details were obtained, they were taken home in a police vehicle and their 'parents were advised accordingly'.

Body worn cameras were utilised to obtain images of others involved and follow up liaison between ASB officers and Safer Schools Officers will take place in due course to identify further suspects, police said.

West Yorkshire Police - Leeds East said: "Officers are committed to tackling all instances of Anti Social Behaviour in the local area".
