Police launch urgent appeal after teenager sexually assaulted in Guiseley

Police have launched an urgent appeal after an 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man in Guiseley.

At 9.58am on Thursday, February 6, police received a report of an 18-year-old woman having been sexually assaulted by a man as she walked along a cycle path off Coach Road, Guiseley, at about 9am on Wednesday, February 5.

The suspect - who the victim has seen walking a dog on the same route a number of times previously and had passing conversation with - grabbed her and kissed her on the cheek.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspect and the local neighbourhood policing team has been made aware.
