Police launch urgent appeal after gold bracelet stolen from man as son pushed to floor in Leeds

Police are appealing for information after thieves stole a distinctive gold bracelet from a man in a robbery in a park in Armley.

The item was stolen in a robbery in a park on Hill Top Road, Armley at around 8.30pm on Monday April 13, police said.

Leeds District CID have issued a picture of the high value solid gold bracelet and are appealing for anyone who may have information or who is offered a similar item for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact them.

The robbery occurred after the male victim, who was walking with his adult son, was approached by three males.

The suspects pushed the victim’s son to the floor and then grabbed the bracelet from the victim’s wrist before making off.

They were described as Eastern European men and all aged in their 20s.

All were wearing grey hooded tops and black jogging bottoms, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery, has been offered the bracelet for sale, or who has any information which could help the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District CID on 101 referencing crime number 13200187120.
