Police hunt for this teenager who could be in Leeds after elderly man injured in violent street robbery

Adelin Olteanu, pictured, is wanted by Thames Valley Police in connection with the robbery of an elderly man in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

An 87-year-old man was assaulted in Aylesbury town centre at around 10pm on Tuesday, March 17.

The man was injured and taken to hospital but he has since been discharged.

Police have been unable to find Olteanu and have asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them.

He is known to frequent Aylesbury, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Sheffield and London.

The public have been urged to call 999 immediately if they see the Olteanu.

Designated investigator Hannah Mitchell of the Aylesbury Priority Crime Team said: “Despite concerted efforts to locate Olteanu, we have as of yet been unable to do so.

“I am appealing to anybody who knows where he is to get in touch with police.

“You can do so by calling 101, quoting reference number 43200090463, or if you wish to remain 100% anonymous, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“You can also make a report online.

“I would also urge the public if they see Olteanu, not to approach him, but to get in touch with police immediately on 999.”
