Police cordon in Seacroft after man is stabbed in early hours

A 31-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in Seacroft in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

Police were called to the outside of a house in Brooklands Lane, Seacroft, near to the junction with Brooklands Avenue, at 1.23am.

The victim was found to have suffered a single stab wound that was considered serious but not life threatening.

He is currently in hospital.

Detectives are carrying out enquiries into the incident and a scene remains in place to undergo forensic examination.
