Officers are searching a property on Cowper Mount, off Harehills Lane, as part of an enquiry into a missing person.

Sebastian Wray, 32, who lives on the street, said: "There were lots of police wearing face masks going into the house and taking pictures. The crime scene investigators are there now.

"There were police outside the house at about 9.30pm last night. When I woke up this morning they had gone but they have just come back (around 2pm) and have put up police tape."
