Police cordon in East End Park after man is stabbed

A large police cordon is in place this evening (Tuesday) in East End Park after a man was stabbed.

West Yorkshire Police were called at 4.32pm to a report of a man had being found on Dawlish Mount with a stab wound.

The man, aged in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

A cordon is in place this evening and enquiries remain ongoing, a police spokeswoman said.

The cordon stretches over several nearby streets, including Ivy Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 1372 of 11/8.
