Police arrest aggressive drunk man 'attacking passing cars' on Morley road

Victoria Road in Morley was closed by West Yorkshire Police and buses were diverted while the man was detained.

At 11am today (July 14) police received a number of calls from members of the public reporting a man acting aggressively and attacking passing cars.

He was also involved in a collision with a vehicle, police said.

Officers attended and detained the man who was believed to be drunk.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his hands.

Crimes have been recorded for criminal damage and public order and enquiries are ongoing, police confirmed.
