Police arrest 14-year-old boy on suspicion of five sexual assaults in Leeds

Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with a series of sexual assaults in Leeds.

Five women have been sexually assaulted in the Headingley, Little London and Woodhouse areas over the last two weeks.

Three attacks took place in 72 hours between Wednesday February 3 and Friday February 5.

A fourth woman was sexually assaulted in Little London on Thursday February 12.

Police believe the attacks and one further sexual assault are linked.

They have now arrested a teenager in connection with their investigation, which is being led by Leeds District CID.

A 14-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of five sexual assaults.

He remains in police custody.
