Police and forensic searches on Leeds street after 16-year-old attacked and stabbed

A 16-year-old boy was attacked and stabbed on a Leeds street last night (February 24).

At 8:31pm last night, police were called to an address in Cavalier Approach, Cross Green, Leeds, where a 16-year-old man had been assaulted outside and received a stab wound to the arm.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment, police said.

A scene was put in place to undergo forensic examination and searches and was removed shortly before 1.30am.

The victim's injuries are not considered life threatening.

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident, police said.
