New Leeds police officer helps to bust huge £300,000 cannabis farm

The Leeds South policing team raided the property this morning (Wednesday).

The Inner South Team 3 were given a hand by a new member of the team, PC Stewart, who is in the final stages of his training.

More than 600 cannabis plants were discovered, valued at more than £300,000.

One person was arrested.

The team posted to Facebook: "This morning Inner South Team 3 have welcomed a new member to the team, PC Stewart (Photographed) who is in the final stages of his training, by executing a drugs warrant in the Beeston area.

"On searching the address officers found over 600 cannabis plants valued at over £300,000. One person was arrested and enquiries are ongoing.

"Please continue to talk to us, send us your information and we will act on it and tackle the serious, organised crime in your area.
