Man quizzed over rape of woman, 19, after night out in Leeds

A man has been arrested after detectives investigating the rape of a woman in Leeds appealed for help.

The 19-year-old victim contacted police after she was attacked at her boyfriend’s house in Headingley in the early hours of September 25 by a stranger who had got a taxi back with the couple after a night out in the city centre.

A 25-year-old man, from Leeds, was arrested. He has been interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries.
