Man posing as good samaritan after crash makes off with victim’s motorbike

A MAN who posed as a good samaritan after a crash in Leeds then stole the motorbike that was involved.

The man appeared to be helping a motorcyclist who had been knocked off his bike on Mill Street, near the junction with Duke Street in Leeds city centre, at around 7.15pm on Monday, May 19.

After wheeling the white Honda CBR500 motorbike out of the road and onto the pavement, the suspect then drove it down Mill Street and onto Flax Place.

The 22-year-old motorcyclist in the accident was believed to be uninjured but his bike is yet to be recovered.
