A man lost the end of his little finger in an attack in a Leeds pub.

The 53-year-old was injured when he was assaulted by one of a group of three men in The Old Unicorn pub, in Town Street, Bramley.

It is thought the tip of his finger was sheared off as he tried to protect himself from being glassed.

The three men then became involved in an altercation with another group before leaving the bar.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to over the incident, which happened at about 10.30pm on Thursday, November 12.

Detective Constable Ian Potter, of Leeds CID, said: “This man is clearly identifiable on the images and we would like to hear from anyone who recognises him.”

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Potter at Elland Road police station via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
