Man found unconscious after being punched and kicked by gang of youths in Leeds

Police were called to Harehills Lane at about 9.10pm on Wednesday after a man was found unconscious in the street.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, regained consciousness and was taken to hospital for treatment.
He was found to have facial fractures.
His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Hide AdThe man told police that he had been chased by a group of youths before being punched and kicked on the ground near to the BP filling station at the junction with Nowell Lane.
The youths ran off down Kimberley View.
A scene was put in place to undergo forensic examination.
The incident is being treated as grievous bodily harm with intent and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.
