A man has died after being found unconscious outside a block of flats in Leeds.

Police were called to Lincombe Drive in Gledhow at 1.10am this morning.

A man had been found unconscious outside Gledhow Towers, a housing association block managed by Leeds Council.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 74 of May 1.
