Man dies after being found unconscious outside shop in Leeds

A man has died after being found unconscious outside a shop in Leeds.

Police were called to Compton Road, Harehills, shortly after 8am today where the man had been found.

He was given CPR by officers but was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics a short time later.

A police cordon has been put in place as officers investigate the man's death.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the man's death is being treated as unexplained.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
