Man caught driving around in car with smashed in windscreen

A man was caught driving around in a car which has no licence plate and a smashed in windscreen.

It happened on Gibbet Street in Halifax at about 1.30pm on Thursday, June 6.

Shocked officers spotted the car driving around despite the dangerous state of the car.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit said: "This vehicle was seen being driven, not on a recovery truck.

"This vehicle is in a dangerous condition.

"Windscreen, no wipers, no number plate.

"Driver reported for the offences."
