A man was arrested after threatening children with a knife as they played outside.

It happened on Monday, August 3 on Lumb lane in Bradford.

A 42-year-old man allegedly made threats to the children with a knife.

Officers arrested the man and seized the knife.

Operation Jemlock officers, who tackle violent and knife-enabled crime in West Yorkshire, said: "3rd August, numerous Operation Jemlock officers were deployed to a report of ongoing disorder at Lumb Lane in Bradford.

"On arrival a 42-year-old male had allegedly made threats to children playing in the street with a knife.

"The male was arrested and knife seized.
