Man arrested after Audi crashes in Bramley following police chase through west Leeds

A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a police chase through west Leeds.

An Audi A3 failed to stop for police in Stanningley at about 6pm on Thursday (June 10).

A police chase followed, ending at about 6.35pm in Bramley.

The Audi crashed with two other vehicles in Wyther Park Road.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

He remains in police custody while the investigation continues.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At about 6pm yesterday an Audi A3 failed to stop for police in Stanningley, Leeds.

"A pursuit was authorised and ended at about 6.35pm when the vehicle was in collision with two other vehicles in Wyther Park Road, Bramley.

"A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is currently in custody while enquiries continue."
