Man appears in court charged with murder in Leeds

A 23-year-old has appeared in court today charged with the murder of a man in a shooting incident in Leeds.

Abdullah Ullah, 23, of High Road, Harrow, is charged with the murder of Pawel Jarek Matras who was shot and fatally wounded at an address in Blue Hill Crescent, Wortley, on Friday, November 8.

He has also been charged with wounding with intent and conspiracy to supply cannabis. He appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court today (November 18) and was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court.

Three other men, aged 21, 22 and 22, who were arrested as part of the investigation have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis.

A 19-year-old woman has been released on police bail.
