Man and woman arrested after 'mass brawl' in Pudsey

A man and woman have been arrested after a "mass brawl" in Leeds.

Police were called to Bradford Road in Stanningley at about 5.40pm on Saturday, June 20 after reports that people from two cars had begun fighting.

An eyewitness said at the time: "There was a massive brawl involving about 10 people. It was blocking a side of the carriageway."

A car was driven off from the scene during the incident.

Officers went to the scene and arrested a 24-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man on suspicion of theft of a car and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

They remain in custody

Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone who saw the incident or has information is asked to contact Leeds District Police on 101 referencing crime number 13200308613.
