Man, 20, seriously injured after being stabbed in chest near Holbeck Moor Park in Leeds

Yorkshire Ambulance Service received a report at about 10.30pm last night that a man had been stabbed near Domestic Street, Holbeck, and was on his way to hospital in a car.

The 20-year-old man turned up to Leeds General Infirmary with a stab wound to his chest.

He is being treated for serious injuries that are not considered life threatening.

The ambulance service called the police who have launched an investigation into the stabbing.

Officers have cordoned off Top Moor Side, near Holbeck Moor Park, while they search the area.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13200454260 or online via the LiveChat.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
