Also sentenced this week was a rapist who was caught on camera kidnapping and dragging a teenage woman back to his flat after she tried to escape his clutches.

13. Ryan Bartholomew
Ryan Bartholomew, 30, of Northfield Terrace, Church Fenton, was jailed for six months after admitting making threats with a bladed article. The court heard how he pulled a knife on what he claimed was a dealer selling drugs outside of his home. | Google/National World

Neil Poundford, 65, of no fixed address, was handed a new two-month sentence for breaching a ban on him using public transport, having been convicted of groping females on buses in 2017. | Google

Darryl Benn, 31, of Sycamore Walk, Stanningley, was jailed for four years after admitting stalking with fear of violence over a nine-year period, sending a photo of his genitals to cause alarm or distress and sending death threats. The court heard how he sent a woman 11,000 messages in a three-week period and stalked her for more than nine years, calling her 300 times a day on average. | National World
