William Stevenson parked his car on Eccup Moor Lane in North Leeds before he went for a walk round Eccup Reservoir on Saturday.

When the 23-year-old returned from the walk and opened his car door, he realised something was wrong.

William said: "As soon as I realised something was wrong I wondered what I had just put my hand in.

"I moved my hand straight away and saw dog poo.

"I thought 'that is absolutely disgusting'.

"Someone had also spat on the driver's side window."

When William got home he washed his hands "20 times" before washing his car door handles with a garden hose and having a shower.

He added: "I was worried about touching my eyes for a while because dog poo can be really dangerous.

"I washed my hands probably about 20 times afterwards.

"I didn't tell the police as I thought they have better things to be doing at the moment.

"I just really wish I had caught the people who did something so disgusting."

William lives in Alwoodley and had abided by Covid lockdown rules by driving for his exercise.
