Leeds corner shop targeted by knife-wielding robber

A robber carrying a knife stole the till from a Cross Gates corner shop first thing in the morning.

He went into A1 News and Mini Mart, in Manston Approach, just before 6.30am on Thursday, April 2.

The man, described as white, tall and slim, wearing a black jacket, hooded jumper and blue jeans, approached a member of staff armed with the knife before taking the cash.

The staff member was unhurt.
