Police in Leeds have warned drivers that the 'law still applies' during lockdown after residents complained of speeding.

Officers from the Leeds North West Neighborhood Policing team conducted speed checks in Yeadon over the weekend.

It followed complaints from Yeadon residents reporting speeding drivers.

The Leeds North West team tweeted: "Following concerns raised by local residents, officers have been conducting speed checks in Yeadon this morning.
