A police spokeswoman said they were not in a position to name the local man in his 20s and the cause of death could not be confirmed at this stage.

Detectives are treating the death as unexplained and are awaiting test results.

The gates to the cemetery were locked yesterday while officers kept watch over the scene, but it has since reopened.
