Lancashire Police urgently hunt this wanted man who is believed to be in Leeds

Badr Hjaji, aged 29, is wanted in connection to a serious sexual assault in Blackburn.

An investigation was launched following a report that a woman was sexually assaulted in December 2017.

Officers have been unable to find Hjaji but believe he could be in Leeds or Bradford.

They are urging anyone with information to come forward - and anyone who has an immediate sighting of him should call 999.

Lancashire Police have described Hjaji as white, five foot nine inches tall and of slight build, with short black hair, brown eyes and a full black beard.

DS Steve Craig, of Lancashire East CID, said: “We urgently need to speak to Badr in connection with our investigation.

"I would encourage anyone who knows of his whereabouts - or Badr himself – to contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information should call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 1458 of January 24, 2019.

For immediate sightings call 999.
