Gunshot fired after car crash in West Yorkshire

Police officers in West Yorkshire are investigating reports of gun shots being fired following a car crash.

Police officers are on the scene in Brighouse following a reported firearms discharge on Cliffe Road.

At around 2.15pm, numerous calls were made to the West Yorkshire Police to report three vehicles had been involved in a collision and a firearm had been discharged at one of the vehicles.

There are no reports of any injuries.

A large police presence remains in the area and armed officers are on the scene.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting log 921 of today.
