The Grange Medical Centre in Seacroft closed before 10am on Monday (Feb 10) following vandalism on Sunday evening.

Staff posted on social media:"We would like to apologise to all our patients following yesterdays events at The Grange Medical Centre.

"We were unable to gain access to The Grange Medical Centre building due to vandalism caused on Sunday evening.

"The severity of the damage prevented us from gaining access until 10am.

"This did not only affect us but also Colton Mill and Lloyds Pharmacy.

"The Mindless vandalism that was carried out had a huge impact on our ability provide vital health care services to the community.

"We have CCTV evidence of the crime and the police are currently investigating."

Staff from the centre are launching an appeal for any witnesses or information about the incident.
