Police are looking for this man after a gardener stole hundreds of pounds from an 88-year-old Leeds woman.

The man called at the pensioner’s home, on Church Lane, Meanwood, on February 24 and offered to do some work in her garden.

She agreed and he returned the following day.

The woman told him she would pay him once he had finished the work, but later noticed that an envelope containing the cash had been taken.

Det Con Alex Nield, of Leeds CID, said: “We have worked with the victim to put together an e-fit image of the man who called at her door. We would urge anyone who recognises this man, or indeed the man himself, to contact CID on 101.”
