Four males get out and run from car in Middleton when West Yorkshire Police officers approached thinking it was abandoned

Four males have made off from a car in Middleton which West Yorkshire Police officers thought had been abandoned.

The vehicle was found by West Yorkshire Police community support officers patrolling around the Middleton area.

After checking on the car which they thought had been abandoned, four males got out and ran.

The car has been seized.

A post on the West Yorkshire Police Leeds South Facebook page said: "Team 3 Inner South PCSO patrolling around the Middleton area came across this vehicle and thought it was abandoned, on checking on it, four males made off. Vehicle seized"
