A fire in the kitchen of a property on Sandpiper Road, Calder Grove, Wakefield was attended by the fire service on Monday evening (Feb 17) at 7.30pm.
The fire was out on arrival, it was confirmed.
Two adults and four children suffered smoke inhilation and were given check ups by ambulance crews.
They did not require hospital treatment.
Three pumps attended from Ossett and Dewsbury.
