Fire crews were out doing moorland fire prevention work when they became stuck.

The cars, which lined the length of the country road, had not left enough room for the fire engine to pass.

Thankfully, the firefighters were not attending an emergency but West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service has urged people to "think" before they park.

A spokesman said: "Please think when parking.

"Whilst carrying out Moorland Fire prevention initiatives this weekend, our crews had problems with access due to the way that people had parked.

"Always leave enough space for emergency vehicles to get through.

"We can't help you if we can't get to you & peoples lives may depend on it."
