The family of a woman who was hit and killed by a lorry in Heckmondwike have released a photograph.

Jean Hepworth, 69, from Liversedge, was hit by a HGV lorry as she crossed the road in Westgate on Wednesday, February 2020.

Emergency services attended Jean was pronounced dead at the scene.

Today her family have shared a photograph of Jean on holiday in Whitby, a place she enjoyed visiting.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision, as well as anyone who may have dashcam footage of it or what happened immediately prior to it.
