Driver of £250,000 Rolls Royce which had not had MOT for FOUR YEARS stopped by police

The driver of a £250,000 supercar was stopped by police - who discovered it had not been through an MOT for four years.

West Yorkshire Police stopped the driver of the Rolls Royce Ghost in Halifax.

The force warned the driver could be fined up to £1000 after identifying the car as not having been through a test since 2016.

In a Facebook post, the force said: "PC Illingworth conducted a road traffic stop on a Rolls Royce Ghost after PCSO Talbot identified it had no MOT.

"Further checks were conducted and it was confirmed that the vehicle had not been through an MOT since 2016!

"Please ensure you know when your vehicle needs checking that it is roadworthy.

"You can be fined up to £1000 for not having a valid MOT on your vehicle.

"The driver of this luxury car was issued a traffic ticket and informed to take the vehicle off the road until it had a valid MOT."
