Driver fined after being caught eating takeaway pizza at side of motorway in West Yorkshire

A driver was fined by police after being caught eating a takeaway pizza in his car at the side of a motorway.

West Yorkshire Police Traffic Officer "Traffic Dave" said he found the driver parked at the side of the M606 in West Yorkshire on Friday night.

The silver vehicle was spotted at the side of the M606 in West Yorkshire.

A picture tweeted by the officer showed a pizza box on the passenger seat of the car.

The traffic officer tweeted: "Feeling Peckish? Just stop on the Motorway! Eat your Pizza! Receive a ticket!"

One social media user said: "These Bradford takeaways do seem to be very popular...."
