A driver was arrested on the M621 in Leeds after being almost four times over the drink drive limit.

It happened at about 9.20pm on Tuesday, August 12.

Officers stopped the car on the M621 and tested the driver's breath alcohol levels.

They were nearly four times the legal limit.

They were arrested.

Officers from the West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit said: "M621, Leeds - Officers have had cause to stop a vehicle on the M621 and the driver has blown nearly 4 x the drink drive limit. Driver arrested."

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the alcohol limit for drivers is 80 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood or 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
