Crack cocaine and heroin seized from man in east Leeds drugs bust

A man has been charged after being caught with a large quantity of class A drugs in Leeds.

Operation Jemlock officers caught the man with a 'large amount' of crack cocaine and heroin in the Lincoln Green area.

He was charged with drugs supply offences today and denied bail.

Leeds Crime Team tweeted: "Excellent proactive arrest by our @WYP_OpJemlock colleagues in the Lincoln Green area.

"Male arrested with large amount of crack cocaine and heroin.

"Processed today by our detectives and the male has been charged with drugs supply offences. Bail denied."

Operation Jemlock is a West Yorkshire Police crackdown on serious violent crime and knife crime.

There have been more than 2,300 arrests and 100 weapons seized as part of the operation, which begun in April 2019.
