City beach, Millennium Square

The beach is coming back to Leeds for another year.

Grab a deckchair, soak up some sun and sink your feet in the sand at City Beach, which officially opens at Millennium Square at 11am tomorrow.

This year there’s a new child-friendly rollercoaster, pirate-themed events, treasure hunts, BBQs and water cannons.

It runs until August 31.

Rugby festival, Leeds Dock

In case you haven’t heard, the Rugby World Cup trophy is currently touring the country, and is coming to Leeds this weekend.

You can catch a glimpse of it at Leeds Dock, where it’s arriving via a water taxi at 5pm.

A rugby-themed festival will also be held at the dock, with free water zorbing, live music, special film screenings, an outdoor bar and street food.

Belgrave Feast, Belgrave Music Hall

Get yourself to the Belgrave Feast tomorrow and explore three floors of street food, art, ale and music.

The impressive food line-up includes Colombian BBQ joint Arepa! Arepa! Arepa!, steak experts Ox Club, Redondo Beach cocktail bar, tacos from Smoqued and Polish street food from Smak.
