Stuck for stuff to do in Leeds city centre this weekend? Keep yourself busy at some of these popular venues.
New cocktails at Jake’s
This Call Lane favourite is launching a new cocktail menu, and last night City Buzz popped down to see what all the fuss was about.
The bar took a step back in time to host a prohibition-themed party yesterday for the new menu, which includes homemade liqueurs and distillates made on site in a copper pot still. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.
Pop along to Belgrave Music Hall on Cross Belgrave Street tomorrow and explore three floors of street food.
This month’s line-up includes dosas from Chaat Cart, pizza by Frizza, mac and cheese from Mac Daddies, steak by the Ox Club, sweet treats from Noisette Bakehouse, bahn mi and dim sum.
Birthday fun at Whitelock’s
To celebrate one of the oldest pubs in Leeds turning 300, the venue is hosting a big birthday bash.
The pub just off Briggate is offering a five-course menu inspired by the 1700’s – the era it first opened – with a 21st century twist.
The menu includes trout, roast loin of venison and trifle, and will be available on Sunday, September 13.
Tickets cost £30.
