WITH CHRISTMAS just six weeks away, it’s time to get in the festive spirit.
And what better way than with a Christmas cocktail festival?
The people behind the popular Leeds Loves Cocktails event is hosting a one-off festive spin-off on Saturday, December 6.
The ‘Leeds Loves Xmas Cocktails’ event will be held from 7pm at a secret location that will be revealed closer to the time.
Hints and clues as to where it will be held will be released by organisers via social media and on the website over the next few weeks.
The theme of the festival will be based around ‘Repeal Day’ – the day that the prohibition was finally lifted in America back in 1933.
The festival is teaming up with brands such as Old Forester American Whisky, Absolut Elyx Vodka, el Jimador Tequila, Portobello Road Gin and Santa Teresa Rum, to name a few.
For those of you keen to attend, you’ll have to be game for some fancy dress too, as guests are asked to adhere to a strict dress code of Gatsby, blue-tie or gangster.
There will also be entertainment and music throughout the night.
Tickets to the event cost £15 and include a cocktail and canapés.
All cocktails will be prohibition-themed and priced at £4.50.
Judging by how popular the previous Leeds Loves Cocktails event was, you may want to snap up your ticket soon.
