Here are a few of the hottest trends and events happening in Leeds right now.

Burger battle at Canal Mills

It’s the battle of the burgers as eight guest vendors go head to head in a tasty competition.

Patty Smith’s, Almost Famous, Get Baked, Black Swan and The Old Yorkshire Pit will take part in the Battle of the Burger competition tomorrow and Saturday, along with two Newcastle vendors.

Entry is free, each mini burger is £3 and there’s also beer and live music.

New adventure app launches in Leeds

A cool new adventure game that aims to make participants see Leeds city centre in a new light launches tomorrow.

If You Go Away, by Leeds-based art collective Invisible Flock, is an immersive, location-based game, and participants can download the game via an app that gives instructions on where to go.

New food at Pho

Vietnamese street food offering Pho is mixing up its menu.

Two new soups have been added, featuring pulled brisket, mushrooms and pak choi, and a beef brisket curry has also been added.

New sides include crispy, seasoned chicken wings.

We went along to try it last night and were not disappointed!
