Police are looking for three masked men who raided a shop in Leeds.

The trio threatened staff and assaulted a 69-year-old male customer when they stormed One Stop convenience store, in Burley Road, Burley.

They stole cash, cigarettes and alcohol

They stole cash from the till and took cigarettes and bottles of spirits before running off in the direction of Argie Avenue.

The incident happened shortly after 7.30am on Saturday, September 26, but police have now issued CCTV images as they continue their inquiries.

Detective Constable Steve Rochnia, of Leeds CID, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victims and we urgently need to identify the people responsible. Although their faces are masked, someone may recognise them from their clothing.

”We would like hear from anyone who may have seen the suspects in the area around the time of the offence or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
