Police investigating the alleged rape of a woman in Leeds last year have released a CCTV image of man they want to speak to.

A 19-year-old woman contacted police after an incident at an address in the Hyde Park area last October.

She said she had been attacked by a man she met on a night out.

He is described as about 6ft 2ins tall, aged in his early twenties and mixed race, with a light complexion.

He had short brown, shaven hair and dark brown eyes.

The alleged incident happened in the early hours of Friday, October 18.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries but have released the CCTV image in a bid to identify the man, who may have information that could help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact Detective Constable Kam Nagra at Leeds District Safeguarding Unit via 101.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
