CCTV appeal: Man sought over Leeds car park sex attack

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace in relation to a sexual assault in Leeds.

A 21-year-old woman was walking along Hyde Park Road, near Woodsley Road, at around 4am on October 31, when a man dragged her into a car park and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect, aged 29 to 31, with light blonde or ginger hair, fled the scene when she screamed.

Detective inspector Ian Lawrence, of Leeds District CID, said: “Our enquiries have identified CCTV images of a man we believe to be the suspect and urgently want to trace.

“The moving footage is very clear and we feel that he will be clearly identifiable to anyone who knows him.

“I would like to hear from anyone who knows the identity of the man or who thinks they recognise him.”
