Detectives investigating an armed robbery in Leeds have released CCTV images of four men they want to trace.

Two men stopped a car just outside the West Indian Centre in Laycock Place, Chapeltown, in the early hours of 2 January.

The suspects, who were armed with knives, threatened the three passengers and dragged them from the vehicle.

The car and its contents were stolen and later found abandoned on the Sholebroke estate in Leeds.

Detective Stewart Greenwood, of Leeds CID, said: "The victims have been left traumatised following this incident at the start of the year and we hope by releasing these images, members of the public will recognise these men and assist with our enquiries."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det Greenwood on 101, quoting crime reference 1317001265.
