Cannabis farm found in South Leeds

A cannabis farm was found in South Leeds.

Two houses were searched on Thorpe Road in Middleton on Tuesday, February 4.

298 cannabis plants were seized.

Inspector Lucy Leadbeater, from the West Yorkshire Police unit South Leeds team, said: "Officers from the Neighbourhood Impact Team have today conducted a warrant on Thorpe Road, Middleton.

"Two properties were searched and 298 cannabis plants were recovered from within.

"Enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects."
