Cannabis farm found at scene of large fire on Roundhay Road

Police have confirmed that a cannabis farm was found at the scene of a fire on Roundhay Road.

The fire broke out in a property above the Jamales Junction shop at about 1.15pm on Tuesday, August 11.

Five fire engines were called to tackle the blaze, which caused serious damage to the roof.

West Yorkshire Police have now confirmed that a drug farm was found at the scene.

Police have confirmed that a cannabis farm was found at the scene of a fire on Roundhay Road.

In a statement, a spokesman said: "We are currently assisting the fire service with this incident where a cannabis farm was found at the scene.

"Road closures are in place on Roundhay Road, Lampton Road and Harehills Road. People are advised to avoid the area and traffic is advised to find an alternative route."
